Boronia Grove Community Centre

The community centre is located behind the Epping Club and next to the Rawson Street car park and Boronia Park.

Monday classes are held in Function Room 2 (formerly Meeting Room 3).

Saturday classes are held in Meeting Room 1.

Getting there:

The centre is a short walk from Epping railway station and bus interchange.

From the Beecroft Road side of the station, walk down the lane next to the Epping Hotel, cross over Rawson Street, and walk down the path beside the council carpark. The community centre is the building on the left with a mural facing the car park.

Parking:

Limited parking (ranging from ½ to 3 hours) is available in nearby streets.

Parking in the Rawson Street council car park and Coles car park is limited to 2 hours.

Other places to park are:

  • Victoria Street (2 hour parking)

  • Bridge Street, past Victoria Street (3 hour parking)

  • Top end of High Street (3 hour parking)

    • From Beecroft Road, access via Rawson Street and Chesterfield Road

    • From Epping Road, turn left directly after crossing the bridge

Epping Rotary Community Hall

1-3 Brigg Road, Epping

The community hall is located at the corner of Blaxland and Brigg Roads, Epping.

Getting there:

The centre is a short walk from the railway station and bus interchange.

At the Langston Place-Oxford Street-Pembroke Street intersection, cross at the lights and towards Epping Road and the railway bridge. Cross over Epping Road and continue to walk two blocks down Blaxland Road. There are stairs down to the hall from Blaxland Road or you can access a path from Brigg Road.

Parking:

Parking is available in Brigg Road and nearby streets.

Blaxland Road is a clearway between 6-10am and 3-7pm Mondays to Fridays but parking is allowed outside these hours.

Requirements:

The online classes are run using the video conferencing application, Zoom.

You need a device with a web camera, speakers and microphone such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone. Position your device so that I can see you whether you’re standing, seated or lying on the floor. Download the Zoom client for meetings for your device from zoom.us/download.

The meeting details are included in the confirmation email when you book your spot.

Accessing the class:

You can access the classes by doing one of the following:

  • Using the weblink in the confirmation email

  • Opening the Zoom application, selecting Join a meeting, and entering the meeting ID and passcode

  • Dialling 02 8015 6011 (or your local phone number) and entering the meeting ID and passcode when prompted.

    Note: Dialling in is an audio-only option and requires less data.
